Production for Children Featuring Music, Dance and Art is Hosted Annually at the Historic Hollywood Bowl
City of Industry, CA – July 20, 2016 – Continuing what has become a running tradition, US Bankcard Service (USBS) recently presented the children of the Asian Youth Center (AYC) with tickets to the SummerSounds program at the historic Hollywood Bowl. SummerSounds is a fun-filled series of lively concerts combined with art workshops where dynamic hosts lead children ages 3 to 11 on a journey to discover music, dance and art from cultures around the world. Previous donations from USBS to the AYC include tickets to the L.A. Zoo, the Zimmer Children’s Museum and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
The Asian Youth Center is a non-profit community organization located in the San Gabriel Valley that provides social services and educational programs to all children. Since its founding in 1989, the AYC has been helping youth in the community adapt and grow into well-minded young adults. Via a volunteer and donation system, the AYC has greatly expanded its educational and exercise programs with the help of the local organizations and volunteer partners such as USBS. USBS has continuously supported AYC for nearly 7 years and will continue supporting the organization in its efforts to help build children’s futures.
Located in Hollywood, California and officially opened in 1922, the Hollywood Bowl is one of the largest natural amphitheaters in the world. The site serves as the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and hosts the finest artists from all genres of music every year. On the grounds of the Bowl is the Edmund D. Edelman Hollywood Bowl Museum, a celebration of the role the venue has played in music, entertainment and the careers of some of the most famous performers of the 20th and 21st centuries.
